1. Last year, RPCVs of CO grew 411 pounds of produce at Civic Center Park.
2. These fresh, healthy veggies were donated to The Gathering Place, a day time drop-in center for women and children in Denver who are experiencing homelessness and poverty.
3. Volunteers for Outdoor Colorado will be helping Grow Local and the RPCV of CO of Colorado plant on Thursday, May 24th, from 5:30 to 8 p.m.
4. This year’s seedlings are being provided by Welby Gardens and H2Organic Farm.
