Dear Amazing Boulder RPCVs,

I hope everyone is having a great fall!  Here at CU-Boulder we

have been busy talking with students, giving class talks, and

basically spreading the world about Peace Corps.

We are gearing up for our annual Peace Corps EXTRAVAGANZA!  It

is only 2 weeks away and we are still looking for more RPCVs

to join us for this event!  This year we have one keynote

speaker, Lori Schippers, who was a PCV in Namibia and has

since started her own NGO called Empower Women in Africa

(empowerwomeninafrica.org).  We would love to have a RPCV that

served in every region of the world to set up a table of fun

things from their region.  I have not had any RPCVs volunteer

from Europe, the Middle East, or Asia, so if you served in one

of those regions we would really appreciate you to come and

represent your region.  Even if you served in another region

we are looking for any and all RPCVs that want to help out

with this fun celebration and inspire future Peace Corps

volunteers!

So the plan is to have our keynote speaker talk, and then have

RPCVs spread out among the tables to create an intimate

atmosphere for talking about your experience and answering

questions that students might have.  It will be a lot of fun

to share our personal experiences with interested students!

The event will be held October 23rd at 6pm in the Glenn Miller

Ballroom.  The Glenn Miller Ballroom is located on the 2nd

floor of the University Memorial Center on the CU-Boulder

campus.
