Volunteer Opportunities at Denver Botanic Garden

SPECIAL EVENT VOLUNTEERS NEEDED

Denver Botanic Garden Plant Discovery Days (April 15-18, shifts are 9:15 a.m.-1:15 p.m.)

Plant Discovery Days Programs offer school children opportunities to learn about and explore the world of plants. The Programs emphasize discovery and self-awareness of a subject. Most activity stations are hands-on and volunteer led. Volunteers will interact with a variety of groups of elementary-level students for several minutes at a time throughout the day. Volunteers will receive training on the station at the morning of the program. We can utilize as many as 10 volunteers on any of these days. Denver Botanic Garden Spring Plant Sale (May 8-10, multiple shifts each day that are 5 hours long including orientation)

This is a large annual event that is loads of fun to volunteer for! We have morning and afternoon shifts each day for volunteers helping as cashiers, cashier assistants, plant valets, and more. Shift times vary based on the day and volunteer position. We will have an ample number of volunteer spots available for each of these days, but they will start filling up as the event draws closer.
